The past month has been a challenge like we have not faced before. The loss of our two homes and essentially all our personal belongings has only slowly hit home. We are extremely grateful for all the support from our friends, with offers of help and just plain emotional support. We are fortunate to have a place to live temporarily at our “cabin” near Poncha Springs, but it is our intention to re-build at our home in Rye, and try to get that done fairly soon. Our insurance agent and adjuster have been extremely helpful in making sure that we are able to live well until our homes are rebuilt and that we will be able to rebuild in a way that fits us as, well as our pre-fire lifestyle. As plans evolve, and we can once again engage in the activities we enjoy, we hope to see each of you and share some good times.
